Introduction to Learning Management Systems at IUM

 What is LMS?

My name is Shanice Kooper I am a student at ium and my student number is 230085199. This blog is about the progress of learning management system at ium.

 LMS ( Learning Management Systems)A curriculum is a software or web-based technology used to plan, implement and evaluate a specific educational process. It is used in e-learning and its structure usually consists of two elements: teachers, students and a server operated by administrators.

 

 

Historical Contexts of LMS at IUM  

 

Since the start of the COVID-19 lock down and social distancing in the country, all school activities
including teaching and learning have been shifted to online mode. Since then, teachers and students have been taught to use the University Learning Management System (IUM_LMS).
The University’s ICT Technical Working Group was created to help resolve issues that arise while using e-learning systems.

 Main Activities and achievement

 -To inspect and resolve problems concerning the students and tutor’s enrollment onto the system.

 - To inspect the setup of halls and requirements for blended learning facilities.

- To inspect and resolve the lecturer’s issues raised by the campuses.
